"Hello Samsung,
I am a Galaxy S23 Ultra owner. This phone was your flagship just last year and sold at a very high price. It is really disappointing that it only gets 4 major Android updates and 5 years of security patches, while the Galaxy S24 series — only one year newer — gets 7 years of full support.
For fairness and to maintain customer trust, we as S23 users strongly expect Samsung to extend the 7-year update policy to the Galaxy S23 series as well. The hardware is more than capable of handling it. Please take this request seriously.

Since this is only a user to user support community you should use the feedback option in the support tab at the bottom of the members app.

Why? If Samsung changes their update policy between models, that is their right to do so. Where do you expect it to end - why not extend it to the S22s & 21s? Why not support every model forever? There was a time there were no updates offered for any model, then only 2 years of updates for the longest time, necessitating purchasing a new phone every two years if one wanted the newest Android version. Samsung now leads the industry with the longest update schedule, and was even the leader when they went to 4 years. IMO, with the rapid changes in technology a 4 year old phone is outdated anyway, even if it still works perfectly. New software may not properly mesh with old hardware.

You use of the word "we" is odd - are you the spokesperson for ALL S23 owners? Are you an expert on phone technology that you can categorically state that the hardware "can handle it"?  You don't know what is yet to come in updates, and cannot state what the hardware can handle.

I might be sad that there aren't gonna be any new OS features so I'm gonna wait until security updates are done then switch to the S27 or S28 whenever they come out.

I think the S23 should have all the features of the S24 and S25 in the last major update. Currently, the S23 has limited features, such as ambient weather wallpaper.

What you think, and what is reality, are two different things.  If features were left out of the update for the S23, there was likely an incompatibility issue; or it was an effort by Samsung (a company that is in business to make a profit and sell new products) to encourage those with older hardware to upgrade.  Users who don't/won't use the new features won't miss them and can and will continue to use their current devices until they decide otherwise. Users who *do* want those new features will have to make a decision whether to stick with their current device or choose to upgrade.

Please extend the update support. This device, along with the Z Fold/Flip 5 and Tab S9 series, is the last ever flagship to support 32-bit apps.
