A bright pink vertical line suddenly shows up on the screen on my S23 plus. The phone has never been dropped or abused. There is clearly a problem with the screen, potentially a defect as this problem has been widely reported on the S series phones. This phone is still in a payment plan with AT&T with a few more months to go. I have contacted a Samsung service center to no avail as the phone is out of warranty.
Any suggestions from members of this community for getting somekind of concession from Samsung to offset the cost of about $300 to repair this phone or getting a new phone ? I have owned many phones. None of them has developed a screen pronem except this one.
First, try to see if samsung tech people can help you go through your phone to check all the settings et.Cetera. If they tell you to go to you break, I fixed place, hang up call back again.Speak to a different tech person and ask them if they would go into your phone with small tutor and see if they can help you.. hey, that doesn't cost anything and if you don't like that person.Wait a half an hour and call back again. They have helped me many times.
There are many behind the screen, things that we can't get to.Unless the samsung tech folk do it first and find things there to help us. Good luck
