I had a great time with the older version, but the updated one can't play wma files. What happened to it? Can I go back to the earlier version?

WMA format music files are way outdated and no longer compatible with many music players. I would suggest downloading one of the apps that allow you to convert from WMA to a more useful music format. Or, I believe VLC media player will play all of your WMA music files.
