How can I stop the Samsung internet app when it opens on its own? Whether I'm reading the news, playing a game, or on social media, it just randomly opens on its own. It's highly annoying and I can't figure out how to stop it. Could someone please help? Thank you so much
This is likely due to a site you have visited. You can try (within Samsung Internet itself) Settings>Personal browsing data>Delete browsing data>Delete Cookies and cached data as well as Cached images and files. If that doesn't work, you might have to go nuclear. Phone Settings>Apps>Samsung Internet>Storage>Clear data. This will essentially reset Samsung Internet.
@DeeksMom Another possible source of these pop-ups is a malicious 3rd party app. This was the case for one of my family members. It could be a 3rd party app which provided some entertainment or minor feature while maliciously creating this spam.
