Hi , my samsung S23 was stolen yesterday. I am worried about my data. It had a Screen 'PIN' lock and there was many important files in my secure folder. I just saw there was glitch in secure folder where one can access it through work profile apps, was it fixed ? ( i had September security update and oneui 7 on my device).
One more query , i had some date cut and pasted from my mobile to my laptop, can that data be recovered in any way by the theif?

Galaxy S23If you go to Google Find, you can possibly locate your phone. You can do a remote wipe of the device (it has to be on) so that even if one guesses your PIN, they can't access the data. Unless you had a really lazy PIN, like "1234", or it was stolen by someone you know who can make an educated guess, your data should be safe. Your phone should have been automatically backing up nightly to the Samsung cloud, but not your personal data (unless that's what you saved to your laptop), is not included in that backup. Should you get a new device, your Samsung backup can be restored to that device, if it's a Samsung phone; and if it's not, your Google backup can be restored. Your photos and contacts should have been syncing and backing up to Google, and you can access those and/or download them to your PC, by going to photos.google.com and contacts.google.com.
Even if the thief resets your phone, the phone will be unusable to them as they must set it up using the same Google and Samsung accounts that you originally set up the phone with. So, unless the thief knows what those accounts are and their passwords, they are more likely to dump the phone.
Oh, and just for good measure, change the passwords to both your Google and Samsung accounts, as well as your financial accounts.
