How to turn off new home pop up

So since I installed the new UI 8.0 (s23U) every time I unlock my phone I have a full screen page pop up with "Editor Picks, News, etc". Looks similar to the Samsung Members app so guessing its Samsung thing. I DONT WANT IT! So how do I turn it off? Been scouring the internet and cant find anything.

It was definitely the Essentials app for me.  The screenshot looks just like what was popping up after unlocking my phone.i disabled it...but you can't uninstall entirely. I hate when they dont allow us to control our own phones.

This is happening to me too! Most annoying! Found out it's an app called "Essentials" that was downloaded to our phones in the last update (don't you just love it when they do that??). Some people are finding that they can uninstall, but others can't. Look for it in the list of apps under settings. Tap on it and if you can uninstall; bonus! Do it! If not, then force stop it, then disable it.  Unfortunately, if you can only disable it, that means it will most likely come back in the next update and you'll need to do this again :(.  Hope this works!

Mine was an app called news pop, I was able to uninstall

To disable the app (since we can't delete it):
Phone Settings > Apps > scroll and tap on Essentials > Force Stop and Disable (at the bottom of the screen).

It's the essentials app, the only way I found to stop it was to go to setting... Apps... Scroll till you find it, click on it and click disable. Hope this helps.
