How do I turn call recording off?

How do I turn call recording off? I cannot find a toggle in settings and am very disturbed by the addition in the update.

Just holding my phone to my cheek has clicked the recording button 5 times in the past two weeks. We need an option to toggle that off or at least move it into the menu inside the active call screen so it isn't accidentally triggered.

The icon is in a terrible location. I hit it with my ear or cheek constantly. Yes, some of use phones as they were originally designed. I have hearing issues and ear buds are not an option, and I can't carry headphones 24/7. Speaker phone is also not an option- some calls are personal or private. This is a severe design flaw in the part of Samsung.

The only wields is another dialer, which is what I'm using, but I don't particularly like it and it is NOT a solution, only a workaround. The only solution would be for Samsung to put in a opt out toggle so it doesn't auto appear on the dialer. I don't care admit the doubting itself, only the **bleep** location of the icon on the screen. I can only only my left ear, so it's extremely frustrating.

The call recording feature activates on its own. I had my phone on speaker talking to my son while typing on a computer and the call announced it's recording. I stopped it and ended the call. Called my son back on speaker just for the call to start recording again within minutes. It's definitely an invasion of privacy and disturbing to have calls randomly recorded!!

This record button is **bleep** since I have high cheekbones it hits the button and I don't want it. I will switch to another phone brand if you can't seem to fix something you created!

This has been a recent annoying problem. Started after a recent update. Perhaps removing that update will remove the record feature.

Today as I was about to make a call I discovered my phone was recording my Phone calls (Galaxy S23 with latest software updates). It also seemed to have a strange green dot near the battery % sign which I have never seen before.  having spent a lot of time researching and following Samsung and other platforms advice on how to turn the " call recording off", to my amazement, I discovered  that I don't even have the option to turn the bloody thing on/off. Its just automatically on!!!

I get that recording icon when I use "Phone" calling (and not just that one, Google calling also has it, except they make it more obvious and with clearer unhidden instructions to turn it off FOR GOOD) and, yes I can see there is an option there to "record"/ not.  However SAMSUNG, it is INSANE that you,ve decided to place that recording icon there where most people, having the phone attached to their ears, can easily press it and then have to fuff about trying to put the phone down before the "this conversation is being recorded" message is played.

Furthermore, I have noted that it is NOT just the Phone calling app which causes the green "recording dot" to appear near the battery percentage sign.

This happens with other apps that can record your conversations as well,  like WhatsApp!!!! and this time it doesn't even show you the "recording symbol", it just illuminate, suggesting that clearly your WhatsApp convo is being recorded.

This is a total INVASION of PRIVACY!! 

If this is not sorted I will say goodbye to Samsung and any other phone having that facility without CLEAR instructions / buttons for TURNING it FULLY OFF.

I am incensed and fed up with all these AI nonsense looking more and more to steal our data and privacy!!

First you say there is no option to turn off call recording then you say you see there is a option to turn it off. Which one is it ?
