How do I turn call recording off? I cannot find a toggle in settings and am very disturbed by the addition in the update.

Galaxy S23Mine is a S21 5g.
Never had this happen before some recent updates.
This button should not be on the face/screen of the phone. The dev's need to move it to the side/edge buttons.
I might be on my laptop as I'm recieving calls, and tend to rest phone between cheek and shoulder to keep my hands free for other tasks.
I DO NOT own nor want to own earbuds do to an issue with my ears.
And having to have to have a conversation on speakerphone sucks in a restaurant/Library/Train/Bus/Plane/crowd or anywhere around other individuals.
And I'd rather not have to have more App's on my phone to just to be able to use said phone.

Galaxy S23YES IT CAN.
It does not need to be on the face/screen of my phone. There are side buttons and coding will take care of this problem/issue

Galaxy S23Yes it can be removed. Doesn't Samsung have coders?? Or is Samsung just lazy?
It can be moved, All you need is a few Dev's time. There's already button's on the side. Have your Dev's map it to there.

Galaxy S23It can be removed or changed by Samsung if they choose to. It cannot be removed by users. The only remedy for those that don't want the feature would be to download an alternate phone dialer app from the Play store. As far as I know, both Google dialers (Google Voice and Phone by Google) do not have the recording feature and neither has ads. I do not know whether other dialers have ads (who wants ads on their dialer?)

Galaxy S23+1 to this. The record call button can be accidentally activated if your phone lightly brushed your face and turns what should be regular use into a potential security issue. Either need a way to disable the "feature" (which was possible before so don't bs about being unable to do so) or it needs to be able be moved... or maybe a third option would be to have a way to control how it's activated.
-maybe thumb scan for activation
-multi tap press for activation + confirmation press
-long press + confirmation press
You shouldn't be able to accidentally press it, that's wild... the text on the screen telling you it's about to record is useless if you have the phone up to your ear, this feature was clearly added in the box without use testing done. Please fix.
Also, the battery icon is a hideous unnecessary change.
