Galaxy S23You power use it all day, and you are surprised it gets hot? Download Good Guardians/Thermal Guardian from the Galaxy store. It may help you determine when and what is causing your overheating.
Videos use a lot of processor power. The more the processor and screen is in use, the more likely to generate heat. Check your battery usage statistics to see which are your battery chewing apps. There may be some running in the background that not necessary. In battery usage limits, set it to put unused apps to sleep. Make sure other battery intensive apps are set to "optimized", except for the ones that are required to be unrestricted. Normal phone usage should garner you between 18-24 hours of uptime. This includes standby, phone calls, light texting moderate video use and limited screen on time. The more screen on time you have, the less battery time you have. Intensive use of the processor not only decreases your battery time, it decreases the lifespan of the battery and it will cause heating/overheating situations where the phone is going to protect itself by dimming, lagging or shutting down.
