Hot to the touch may feel disturbing, but it's really not a big deal unless it's too hot. The phones, being small spaces, dissipate heat through the screen. The screen itself also generates heat, so the longer you have your screen on, the hotter it's going to feel. If it gets uncomfortably hot, just give the screen a rest by turning it off and putting down the phone.
