Ok. Bit of history here. Years ago with my Note 3, I started with Nova Launcher and loved it. Every update and upgrade flowed into my phone with no problems.
I got an update this morning on my S23 ultra for Nova Launcher. Installed, rebooted cleared the cache file as I always do and when it loaded, my phone went into a boot loop. I would get a warning that Nova was using too much power.
I switched over to one ui 8 and it calmed down. I got on my desktop and did some digging and found that Nova had sold out to another company and they were doing all sorts of stuff to it.
So I uninstalled it and went back to One UI 8.
Now I have some questions.
1. Is there any way, on icon labels to edit them? Shorten the name, make it two lines, change the name? Both on the home page and in folders.
2. Is there any way to make the font on the labels bigger? Everything I've found says settings>display>font which make the font HUGE in everything except the labels. I've found pages that say that Good lock - Home up will do it. I haven't found out how yet. As a matter of fact, I think the labels are getting smaller.

I don't believe there's a way to edit icon/folder text or font size in One UI. At least, I'm not aware of one. Third-party launchers typically allow more customization than stock launchers. Samsung has allowed more customization than any other Android OEM with Good Lock, but I still find One UI to be lacking in certain areas.

You will have to wait for Ui8.5, you will be able to edit app labels.

Oh y'all are a bundle of help. Lol. That's about what I've been able to find. I thought I'd ask and see if anyone had a better idea. Oh well. Thank y'all.
