Failed January Update

Trying to update my S23 Ultra with the most recent update but it keeps failing. I have a locked Verizon phone. Everytime I try to update, it's super slow and eventually fails giving my "Error Code: 407". I tried clearing cache, clearing data, restarting my phone, using Smart Switch, switching between wifi and data, switching between different wifi networks. I have enough space on my phone (300gb free). If I knew what the error code meant, I could diagnose further. Google hasn't been helpful. Samsung support hasn't been helpful. They are telling me to manually flash my device but I wanna leave that as a last resort. Any suggestions?

I've got 2 S23's. One started trying the download the security update late in the evening yesterday. It failed with error 500. Rebooted the phone and it kept trying to download the update and failing. Got out the USB cable, hooked it up to my computer, and wiped the cache partition. Restarted the update and went to bed about midnight. I looked at the phone about 12:30 AM and it said downloading 2%. It was finished when I got up this morning and it said the update completed at 4:02 AM. Got my other S23 and wiped the cache partition this morning. Started the update about 8:30 AM. Now, at 9:40 AM is says downloading 7%.

Hi!

I have an S24 Ultra phone. Android today rolled out the second security update of the month in advance of the long-awaited UI 7 Update.

The Update took over an hour to download 5% then quit and started over. It takes forever and I'm now at 2% on the second try. This process started 2 1/2 hours ago!

Plenty of room on phone and network is fine. This is usually quick.

Any thoughts? Thank you.

Wonder if it has something to do with the s25 release today and overloading their servers.

I wonder if there is a glitch in the security update. The delays and missteps leading to UI 7 release seem unusual to me.

Hi I'm a new member and user of Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. and I see an update for Android Security 15. when I clicked the download and it goes, but I noticed the download is very slow and stacked on 2%

I just got my S24 U and I can't update to the Jan 2025 security update and I get error code 412, anyone else having this issue?
