Is anyone having issues with their Verizon Galaxy S22Ultra?

My wife's phone started malfunctioning 2 days ago. We live .75 miles from the cell tower. We are in a suburban NJ neighborhood with no EMF interference.

Her phone cannot stay connected to the Verizon cell network. She gets messages stating her phone is not registered.

She took it to 3 Verizon store techs, 8 hours on phone trouble-shooting.

No solution.

Any help would be appreciated

If it's a physical SIM, does it work in another phone? Did the techs re-provision the SIM for the network, or even swap it out?

Thank you for the tip. Based on everything we've learned, it appears the antenna is the culprit... And it was not helped out by verizon updates.

They checked the SIM...removed and repeated it. Reprovisioned phone.

Still had issues.

Crazy thing my spouse's sister has the exact phone model and live 1 mile away. Never had an issue.

If you know someone who has a different carrier, could you temporarily borrow their SIM to see if it works in your wife's phone? If it doesn't, then you'll know the phone may need to be serviced.

Verizon store techs? What a joke. They are salespeople who know some stuff in order to help with basic troubleshooting. In all this troubleshooting, did anyone a) reset the mobile network or, b) reset the phone? I agree with @Mujibar, see if you can borrow a SIM from someone on another carrier. Also, run a diagnostic on the phone. Diagnostics can be found in the device care settings of your phone. It could be that your SIM tray or SIM reader is damaged. It does not matter that your SIL has the same device and carrier, they are two different pieces of equipment.
