Verizon Samsung S22 Ultra Can Only Use WiFi to Call

Is anyone having issues with their Verizon Galaxy S22Ultra?
 
My wife's phone started malfunctioning 2 days ago. We live .75 miles from the cell tower. We are in a suburban NJ neighborhood with no EMF interference.
 
Her phone cannot stay connected to the Verizon cell network. She gets messages stating her phone is not registered.
 
She took it to 3 Verizon store techs, 8 hours on phone trouble-shooting.
 
No solution.
 
Any help would be appreciated

If you live near a Ubreakit call them first and ask if they have the part.

Hi everyone! We'll it seems Verizon is going to do a good thing -- based on the fact the phone was well cared for and it is either a Verizon software issue or hardware issue they prompted, my spouse is getting replacement S24 Ultra. My spouse gave Verizon a long list of online posts in regards to the antenna and/or software update from Verizon messing up with the ability to connect to the Verizon network. I am shocked and was expecting Verizon to fight tooth and nail.

Then my spouse shared with me about how she was mistreated by the Verizon tech. I won't get into this here -- but I think that helped out with her case.

The S24 Ultra is a really nice phone -- and it has a positive review for quality.

Samsung should look into the documented antenna issues. They all read identical and it surely isn't made up.

Thank you to those who replied! I will keep this open to tell you the results of going from the 22 to the 24.

Wow. This is good info to know. I am currently having the same issue with my S22 Ultra but from Tmobile. They are literally trying to get me to cough up over $500 to upgrade that I can't afford right now. This exact same thing happened with my S21 ultra. Seems like as soon as you're done with payments on the phone, it is somehow disabled from a network. I have tried everything and nothing has helped.

Big a copy of the posts to the Verizon Store.

I have never had a quality issue with a Samsung product. Their phones never failed me either.

This strange situation of "is it the antenna" or "software" issue is perplexing.

I am glad we can discuss this here.
