Galaxy S22Just replaced my old phone with the S22 via Verizon.
When I try to open Voicemail app that came with phone, it instantly crashes.

Galaxy S22Thank you, that worked. It did not crash. It gave me along messsage about "visual voicemail" and certain charges may apply, I guess this is not free ? On my previous Verizon phone, the app was able to show messages without any cost.

Galaxy S22I don't pay for Visual voicemail. What they are taking about is data costs. If you don't have unlimited data it can make you go over your data limit

Galaxy S22Mine had the same issue. The following fixed it:
- go to phone setting, then "apps"
- click on the three dots in the upper right corner
- click on "reset app preferences", and "reset"

Galaxy S22Hooray, thank you Members_ZFGNiA1! After trying multiple avenues, spending hours on the phone with my carrier, this finally did the trick to trigger the Voicemail app to go through the startup steps to accept all Terms & Conditions, etc. and it is now working properly.
