on my S22: my Samsung Pass suddenly stopped accepting the password.

I tried everything listed on this site, and all the steps outlined in this post: Solved: Samsung Pass Won't Let Me Sign In - Samsung Community - 853636

Still, I was unable to sign in to the Samsung Pass.  First, I got a new Tablet, and was not able to activate it, because Samsung Pass wouldn't let me sign in.  Next, about a month later, I had to replace my S22 with and S25, and again, I could not get the new device activated, because Samsun Pass would not accept the password.  In both cases, I chose to activate the new devices manually, and then kept having to sidestep the Samsung Pass application.

After none of the above suggested steps made any progress, I contacted Samsung.  This took multiple calls, I was transferred multiple times each call.  Eventually, one of their technicians said I should go into my Samsung account on-line, and "sign out" of the S22, they said that should resolve the problem.

It did not.  Do not do this.  It locked my S22, so that it would not accept a password to unlock it.

After watching several more YouTube videos, and reading several more Reddit strings about people with very similar challenges, I took a chance, and factory re-set my S22.

This especially worked, because I had already manually transferred most of my crucial data to the S25.

Immediately, Samsung Pass functioned and accepted my password.

I was beginning to think I'd forgotten it, or had it wrong, but I was correct.

Can anyone (with Samsung, or a Samsung Pass application technician) explain why Samsung Pass would suddenly not accept a password during a new device activation or device data transfer?

Ive noticed this too. I shrugged it off as i could sign in to my phone just using my finger, but this became a problem if i couldnt use my finger due to it being wet or something
