Anyone can tell me if there is issue with getting updates on this device. My last update says Jan 2024. My phone is factory unlocked. Any help is appreciated. My device has no AI features

There was a update or fix for the ui 6 Ui recently not sure about the update issues think it's similar to the Google play services were there's a server issue I'm still on September earlier this year some were months behind

Mine says Jan 2024 and I have factory unlocked phone. Could it be my Sim card or no has nothing to do with it

That's were it's a Grey area some unlocked phones I read get delays in updates some I read say the no so nit sure exactly I do know it inly allows 1 update search a day and wifi is good option

If your signal or bars are good than Sim card should be fine

They mean to download and install smartswitch on your computer, then connect your phone to that to do the update.

Your carrier is responsible for delivering your updates.  Samsung has fulfilled it's contractual obligation and has delivered the update to your carriers.

The fact that you paid $1200 does not mean you will get the updates any faster than anyone else, as that is what we ALL paid.  The carrier you chose to activate your device through is not Samsung's responsibility.
