My phone has begun to emit an alarm both when begin and end a charging session. The alarm is for moisture in my charging port. There's no water near my phone at all. Could this be a reaction to humidity? I live in Florida z and the house can be humid. It gas been reacting this way for several weeks. Can this alarm be turned off?
No this cannot be tripped by humidity in my experience. The alarm cannot be turned off. I would try a different cable, if that still doesn't work leave the phone directly in front of a fan with the charging port facing the fan for an hour or so.
Whatever you do, I do not recommend using a heat gun or hair dryer.
