Samsung S22  I've been using Smart Switch for some time to backup my phone to my computer.  Today I got an error message:  Unsupported USB Connection     The current connection mode is not supported by Smart Switch. I'm using the same USB cable to run Smart Switch on both my phone and my wife's phone.  It is the charging cable I use on both phones and it works fine and has worked with Smart Switch all along.  It is a standard USB-A to USB-C cable for my S22 phone.  Can someone tell me why I'm getting this error and how to fix it.  I did try another working USB-A to USB-C cable and got the same error message.

Thank you

Is the phone charging when connected? If so, pull down the notification shade on your phone and see if the USB mode is set to charging only. You may have to select (I don't remember the correct wording) the item which also lists data or file transfer.

If that doesn't work, try cleaning the USB port. Hope you get it to work again soon.
