Ui8 update now no sim S21 FE

Just updated to ui8 and android 16 on s21fe and 2 others family have now all bricks doesn't recognize sim cards! Anyone have a idea what to do? We know its software not hardware and on one phone did full reset just for giggles and nothing and sim cards work in a old phone.

I did the reflash today and it went well. All good. Advice for others. Use frija to get the firmware. Much faster and more stable than samfw
Use chatgpt to guide you through all steps. Just ask it to show how to flash your Samsung with Odin step by step. Beats having a useless phone but I'm gifting mine to my mom and getting an iPhone. First ever. 😊

Sweet. Friday works good too . Either site gives same firmware. . But agreed Friday can be faster espnof ure downloading from a puter vs mobile. Glad it worked out for u.

Same phone updated this morning and now no signal

Same phone with same issue and I don't want to do a factory reset if it won't even help. We need a new update!

Yeah it doesn't. That's why I did a reflash of software with Odin and samfw for the firmware . And I saved my data while doing it.

I have no idea how to do that or want to spend the time to learn it. I imagine most don't. Samsung should be fixing this.

Yeah they should be. I agree. I didn't know either I'm 50 yrs old and tech isn't my thing . I tried phone shops and computer shops. No one could do anything but Sim card and reset phone. There is plenty of YouTube videos on this and once u download the program and phone image . It's legit point and click to do. I wish I was close I'd do it for anyone having the problem no charge.

Just to leave an update, the factory reset did fix the phone for me. Seems to be working normally now.
