Extreme camera lag after upgrading to One UI 7

After upgrading my S21+ to One UI 7 there is an extremely large lag in camera related operations. Opening the camera takes a while. And switching to video mode from photo mode takes at least 8 to 10s I kid you not. This is making the phone less usable by the day. This lag is present when switching between back and front cameras as well. Samsung please fix this bug in the next update! Else this is basically forced obsolescence of a flagship phone. No other way to perceive this.

It does not appear that any action is being taken by Samsung at all.

Same issue since update on my husband's and my Galaxy note 20 ultra 5gs. Camera didn't have this issue before update and we've tried clearing our caches and everything, no dice.

Same issue. It's like samsung's update is to make the phone slower to motivate all s21 users to upgrade their phones.

Basically renders the phone unuseable.  It was a remarkable phone with a fantastic camera until now.  Samsung is dead silent on the issue.  Trying to force us into a new phone.  Other than battery life, which is easily fixed, the S21 Ultra is/was a fantastic phone until the upgrade which had basically rendered the camera useless.  I justwent on a lovely beach vaca but missed 90% of the shots.  With your genius engineers I am sure it is an easy fix.  If not, the **bleep** with Samsung and OnePlus here I come.

I have the same problem. especially annoying when swiching from main camera to/from selfie camera.

By the way, I tested turning off all image enhancement and optimization within the camera's settings.  Doing so has had absolutely no effect on the camera delay/lag whatsoever, which is unusual-I thought for sure that disabling the "extras" would speed up performance, but it does not, because this is a SOFTWARE issue not a hardware issue!

I have similar on S21FE after OneUI 7.0 upgrade. I also noticed Gallery app working much slower, especially first run.

Removing all photos from Camera folder seems to help a bit, but it's still far from the speed it had before update.

Can you please fix it Samsung? It's your top level phone.
