6.1 update to the ability to change my notification sounds for each app

When my phone did the 6.1 update it took my ability to change my notification sounds for each app away now I do not have a choice what happened?

You need to turn it on:
Settings >> Notifications >> Advanced settings >> Manage notification categories for each app

This was not because of an update to 6.1, as all s24's came with 6.1 already installed, and the option being enforced (turned off).
