Galaxy S PhonesIt was working perfectly (had one green line but nothing else; everything worked fine) suddenly the display start to show different color hues on top and bottom halves of the screen. When I decrease the brightness it decreases the affected part (30-100% brightness=whole screen shows the wrong colors, 5% brightness=half the screen shows wrong color hue and other half has correct hues, 1% brightness= 1/3 of the screen shows wrong color hue and other half has correct hues and it keep doing the same thing when extra dim is turned on) Sometimes it get fixed it self. One time after changing the color profile (vivid/natural) it got fixed. Its not the eye comfort shield. I downloaded the latest software too(android security patch - October 2024 /android 13-one UI 5.1) didnt worked out. ant idea what this is???

Galaxy S PhonesHello manula_yuganeth,
Welcome to the Samsung Community. We appreciate your feedback. We understand your concerns with your device having different color hues in different parts of your screen. Furthermore, we will be more than happy to take a look into this with you.
Please note: In low brightness situation, dark areas of the screen may appear discolored or stained, but this is normal.
Green tint possibly be eliminated by increasing the brightness.
Go to Settings>Display> adjust brightness slider until desired brightness level
You can set the Motion smoothness to standard to make unit more fluid.
Go to settings> search Motion Smoothness> tap Motion Smoothness> select standard.
You can also attempt to disable Dark mode and use light mode.
Go to settings> Tap Display> tap Light
Apps downloaded can affect camera functionality, cause audio issues, affect network connectivity, and much more issues. Placing unit in Safe mode disables all downloaded apps and loads only the original software that came with your phone or tablet, allowing you to determine if the issue is caused by an app or with the phone or tablet. If the issues do not appear while in Safe mode, the problem is caused by a downloaded app, and it should be uninstalled. To put unit in safe mode:
Touch and hold Power off until the Safe mode icon is displayed. Tap Safe mode to start your device in Safe mode. If you've entered Safe mode successfully, you'll see Safe mode displayed at the bottom of the screen.
If the troubleshooting is not helpful, the phone will need to be evaluated by a certified technician.
