Please bring back SD card storage! I regularly upgraded my Note phone to the top of the line model every two years until the Note20 Ultra 5G and haven't upgraded since for one reason only: it was the last model that offered SD storage. I added a full TB of additional storage to that phone and it's almost 5 years old, yet it's nearly impossible to find a new phone at any price offering that much storage. There are many many Samsung users out there who need a greater amount of storage than even your top tier models offer. This is the one feature that used to regularly differentiate Samsung from all other phone makers, especially Apple, and it's a shame to see Samsung dumbing down their phones and alienating their most loyal customers just to be more like an iPhone.

It's time to invest in a cloud storage option? There's many benefits to cloud storage that beats an SD micro storage card.

Do you really need to carry 10,000 photos on your phone?  Offload them to a computer or flash drive and you will not need the SD card.  They make micro flash drives now that can stay attached to your USB port. If the max storage on a top of the line phone is not enough for your apps, perhaps you should rethink which apps you really need to be permanent residents. You cannot run apps off an SD card any longer anyway.

I have a NAS on my network that automatically backs up my pictures, I wouldn't need a SD card at all

Just telling the OP there are alternatives to the SD card.  If it's photos, music and files they are carrying around, they should only keep what they need on a constant basis on the phone, and the rest should be elsewhere - either their own personal cloud, commercial cloud, a computer, external hard drive, flash drive.  If they are trying to run programs off it, that's just insane.  I usually keep on my phone the apps I use day to day, others I download, use, and uninstall if I only need them occasionally -- and only if I think I am nearing storage capacity on the phone -- which I actually never have even gotten close to.
