i will never understand what the point of buying an iPhone when on iPhone you get:

less homebrew stuff

(aka i cant sideload windows 11 using swap space, some dev options, and praying to the Knox gods that they dont

crash the setup process again. well at least not as easily as you can on Android)

worse UI

(ok this one might be biased since i just kinda suck at using their UI. i look like a cartoon grandma trying to use an iPhone)

less customization

(cant believe you guys only just were able to move icons LMAOOO)

less features
(Samsung Dex is one of the things that i know arent on Apple devices at least from what I'm aware. I'm sure there are more, but not gonna look for them and instead will stay with this one example to reinforce my bias towards Apple = **bleep**)

better AI integration

cameras on both phones are good, so dont even try using that as a point. and if you need camera that good, maybe its time to look into professional cameras. you do not belong with the phone group, you belong with the DSLR group.

Most people who own an iPhone have one because someone they know has one and they're locked in behind the garden wall. They don't care about rooting or sideliading their phone. And they don't know about all the customization and features that an Android phone offers. Their ignorance is bliss.

For me, it's all about the ecosystem that Samsung has. I have two Samsung TVs, a watch, and frig that all work together. I also have a Samsung washer and dryer, but they're not on my SmartHub. And with Link To Windows my PC and laptop are integrated as well, not to mention my Ring cameras and security system, Nest thermostat, and devices, like lights and wall switches, with Alexa. All working together.
