How can I visually see my voicemails?

How do you see voice mails on android. My carrier is asking me to pay for it when on Iphone I used to get it for free.

Visual Voicemail is carrier based, and depending on what carrier you have may require payment.

You can use Google Voice App that will give you Visual Voicemail for free.

Should be able to use normal voicemail not sure on visual voicemail should see in apps

How do I setup the normal vm

Press and hold 1 in dial pad you should get prompts to either setup or enter pin

For most carriers on Android, you only get Basic Voicemail or just Visual Voicemail where it only plays the message. For Verizon, it's $2.99 a month if you want Visual Voicemail where it transcribes each voicemail. Not sure why, but it's (unfortunately) a way for our carriers to get a bit more $$$ from us each month.
