There are so many swipe gestures in the Android interface and especially One UI! The division between swipe the right side for quick panels and anywhere else for notifications alone is fine. When you add swipe left and right to switch between quick panels and notifications, swipe left and right to dismiss notifications, swipe down with 2 fingers to access quick menu, that's where my phone starts to get confused. Swiping in from the edges of the screens for going back is cool but for some apps swiping in from the edges is how you access certain menus. Then you add on top of that edge panels, game performance booster controls, and all of it just becomes too cluttered! Swiping left and right on the navigation gesture to quickly switch between apps is nice, but it interferes with scrolling through text on the keyboard in landscape. Having the option for all of these features is nice but having most of them enabled when you take your phone out of the box is a cluster! It's also a headache for new users who just switched over from iPhone. Simplicity is bliss Samsung. Kiss, keep it simple stupid. How about instead of having everything having a different menu you have idk, a quick settings page where you can edit it to have what you use most? Oh wait...

You can combine the notification and quick panels, in case you didn't know. You can also add or remove icons from the quick panel. Edge panels are an option, not mandatory, and you can place it on either side of the screen.. The top swipe, left swipe for home pages and bottom swipe is endemic to all Android phones.
