I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but there have been a number of tech-news articles swirling around rumors that Samsung won't include the necessary digitizer for the S-Pen in future Ultra models. Seeing that it's already killed off with the Fold series, this seems to lend credibility that Samsung may be considering this. Please don't do it! I have a S21 Ultra, and originally planned to upgrade to the Z fold 7, until I saw that there's no S-Pen support. I'm planning to hold out until the S26 Ultra, it would be very disappoint if S-Pen support is dropped from that model as well - I feel like the S-Pen is a major differentiator from competitor phones, and enhances my productivity!
I'm happy with the way the S-Pen works with my S21 Ultra, if it needs to be carried externally in the case to make room for a battery, that's fine!
As an artist and animator with a tab s10+ and s8+ killing off the Spen, it has made me start to look at other companies for stand-alone tablets for PC and android. Also, stop making our decives so thin. They need to be thick to withstand things and have more power. Whoever is telling them to make things thinner needs to be fired.
I am livid. I have broken not 1 but 4 S Pens in my S25 Ultra. What do I do with it? Oh, draw. Thats it ๐ how are they so flimsy that they just snap? Oh, because they already removed the Bluetooth chip, which means hollow casing. Its bad enough I cant so anything remotely with my pen ... but paying $50 for a new one?? Every time? And now they're talking about just ditching it? See me downgrading to the S24 Ultra again. At least I'll keep the things I liked!
I've owned multiple Galaxy Note models that had the internal S-Pen. I currently have a S21 Ultra with an external S-Pen and I ended up really liking it. The S21 Ultra pen is larger, thicker, and doesn't need power. If they eliminated the internal S-Pen on the S26 to make room for a larger battery, but keep the digitizer for an external stored S-Pen like the S21 Ultra, I would be happy with that! I use mine for note taking.
I have s23U. Want to upgrade to s26. Please include INTERNAL stylus like the s23U. I will surely lose an external, no matter how strong the magnet. I don't even care if it is smaller. I use my stylus daily. No internal stylus, no upgrade for me, simple as that. Please keep the internal stylus! Thank you.
I have read recently that Samsung is removing the Bluetooth features from the Ultra phones. I love the Bluetooth features and want Samsung to know that many people love the features. But many don't even know about the features.
