Pinned notifications

I'd like to be able to pin any notification to the top of the notifications list. For example, I'd like to pin my weather app notification so it's at the top of the long list of notifications every time I pull them down. Some people may want to pin a music app, a banking app, a home security app or family location app notifications to be pinned so they are always on top. It'd be nice to have the option. Seems like an easy fix.

I don't think it takes an inordinate amount of time to scroll through and read notifications, no matter how many there are. I also do not understand how obsessed you have to be with the weather that the widget being on your lock screen or home page is insufficient. I dismiss all notifications as soon as I read them - no sense in having my notification area full of clutter. I also use the weather app, Transparent Clock and Weather, which keeps a permanent large widget in my notification shade. You might want to consider switching. 1739314716279.jpg

Like I said, I thought it'd be a nice option. I wake up at 3:45am so it's dark outside. Looking out the window doesn't help. Drive an hour to work at 5:15 am, still dark. Work 10 to 12 hours a day, 4 to 6 days a week. Drive an hour home in the dark half the year. I work in the operating room. No windows. I have a tempest for the exact weather at my house in real time. I use that for my weather. It is not uncommon for me to have multiple notifications. I think once it said I had 56+. With my job I can't listen or watch or read every notification to swipe them away as they come in. Surgeons don't like that. So i may have a notification on the list for a couple of days until I can get to it. The weather was just an example. It could be any app like I said. It was just a suggestion of something that i thought would be nice, something I would like to have but never mind. I didn't realize my suggestion would cause this much grief.

I think in GoodLock's notistar module you can set notifications by priority or keyword. I'm not sure, as I don't use it. I know there are other apps in the Play store that claim that function.

If you download Good Lock and the Lock Star module. You can turn on the AOD and add the weather widget to the AOD, that way you don't even have to unlock your phone to glance at the weather.
