How to make sounds come through Bluetooth device?

How do I make it so sounds, like texting etc., come thru my Bluetooth device? None of my notifications come thru with sound.

Can you confirm what type of Bluetooth device are you using?

Go to your Bluetooth settings, click the cog that is next to the device that you want notifications to come through, you should see "Messages Access", make sure that is enabled.

if you do not see "Messages Access", that Bluetooth device does not support it.
