Yes, because half of my messaging consists of using emojis and I cant stand google emojis everytime I look at them. Also the way I can change different notification sounds for different people is very useful. I tried using google messages for a while to see if I will get used to it but I havent and still hate them. As well as the way to attach images, which is so much easier than google messages way, with it taking up half the screen and separating per month.

Half your messaging consists of emojis? You must be very young. Adults don't communicate that way. If I ever got a text that consisted of mostly emojis, not only am I not reading it, I'm deleting it so I don't even have to see it by accident. You can change notification sounds for different chats in Google messages. I have no issues with attaching images in Google messages - they appear in the message at a size I would expect them to.  They don't compress, so I'm sure that's why you think it takes up half your page, as if it's too hard to scroll.  I don't know what you are referring to with the images being separated by month.  They are in your messages and your messages are sorted by name.  If you are referring to the image search, of course it would be separated by month.

This is not the case for the vast majority of users.

The Samsung Messages implementation of RCS is carrier-dependant.

Most carriers are transitioning to Google's version of RCS because it runs through Google's servers, tends to be more compatible with iOS, and doesn't require the carrier to build and maintain their own RCS infrastructure.

Unless your carrier decides that they are going to indefinitely maintain their own RCS infrastructure when there is an option for them not to (which would be an odd business move, to say the least,) it is highly likely you will likely need to transition to google messages to retain RCS Chat features at some point.
