I am aware of the s26 line coming up. Some say wait and some say buy it and use it as a trade in for the s26u. I'm also not sure if I should use the reward points now and do trade in or just use all my reward points towards the s26u. Trying to find best value.

Which device are you trading in? Samsung no longer provides decent trade-in values for devices older than one generation. For example, the S24 Ultra is currently valued at $700, but my S23 Ultra will only fetch a measly $264 toward purchase of the same device. If your out-of-pocket expense for a 512GB S25 Ultra is $128.68, I say get it now and trade it for the S26U, if that's what you ultimately want. Chances are, the trade-in value for the S25U will be more than what you paid for it.
