Galaxy S Phones
Hey,
I got my hands on a new S10 and whilst trying to set up face recognition, I get stuck on an error message:
“Face recognition not working. Couldn’t open Camera. Try again.”
The first few seconds when I click “Face recognition/Register your face” and when the error message I told about above pops up, the green camera icon shows up in the top right corner of the screen, then disappears. When I tried adding Camera access widget or whatever, I turned it off, then on, nothing worked.
Please help. Thanks in advance!

Galaxy S PhonesYes, I meant I reset it and set it up with my new Samsung account. So it is 6 years old, previously used by my relatives, running One UI 4.1 with Android 12 if I’m correct, not updating further.
So you think the fact that the phone is 6 years old makes it unusable in terms of such features as face recognition?

Galaxy S PhonesBut it won’t let me update past One UI 4.1. The phone is old. Nothing I can do.
