Galaxy RingThey may deserve it, but that does not mean that any company is required to give one and it also doesn't mean that a company that does give one can't set conditions on it.

Galaxy RingI hate to tell you this, but a company (any company) that offers any kind of discount is allowed to set their terms for the discount. Even when, for example, UberEats offers a discount, they usually require a minimum purchase. Even when Macy's has a major sale and discounts "everything", they don't really mean everything, there is usually a list of exclusions longer than the advertisement. I very rarely see any company offer a discount of any kind without some purchase minimum. At one point, I was entitled to an employment discount with certain computer companies, it also either excluded some lower priced items outright or there was a purchase minimum. The discount usually works out to be beneficial in any case. It also depends on how big a discount they are giving. Just because you are military doesn't entitle you to a discount. It is nice when companies offer it, but they are not required to, and they are allowed to set terms when they do. It's not a matter of mistreating veterans. Many companies don't even allow you to take the military/employment discount on top of already discounted items.
