I got one 3 months ago and it stopped working. I was able to send it back easy enough, but after 10 days I get a phone call that they can't repair it. They offered me a credit which is supposed to cover the cost of a new one. I had to jump through hoops to accept the credit, then I get a message that it's under review and will take another 7-10 business days to approve. Very disappointed they can't just send me another one and I have to go without for a month or more. I did find it useful to wear, not the best tracker but still useful. I am concerned about the durability but was willing to give it another shot. Now I'm not sure I'll ever get the credit and be able to use it what with all the restrictions they seem to be putting on it.

My battery life was originally 7+ days, but now, after nearly a year, the battery must be recharged almost every day. Not at all what I expected, and my use has been quite normal, not excessive I any way, as I am 75 years old.

I have had my galaxy ring for a year. I have loved it UNTIL the last software update in June 2025. Battery life was averaging 5-7 days on a full charge prior to update. Since software update, life has been steadily  decreased. Now battery life is less than 24 hours with ALL features turned off to conserve battery life. I have reached out to Samsung Customer Support with no results. Will be looking for a replacement smart ring.

I ended up getting the ring , however after about a month of using it the battery started draining super fast. Contacted Samsung support and they are sending me a replacement. Hopefully this one doesn't have that issue.

Stay away unless you can afford to buy a new one every year. Samsung is known for horrible battery life on all of their devices & the ring is the worst.  When i first got my ring the battery lasted for days (hec might have even been a week) then it started degrading & lasting less & less to where it would not even last 1 full day.  At 53 weeks of ownership i contacted Samsung to tell them my ring was unusable.  They told me to mail it in & for $99 they would diagnose the issue then tell me how much the repair would cost.   I have owned 2 Galaxy phones & a Galaxy smart watch prior to this ring, all had the same rapid battery deterioration.  No other watch or phone I have owned has had this happen.  I have decided to part ways with Samsung & will never buy another of their products.

The Ring will only last 10-11 months. After that, you will need to charge it 1-2 times per day. It is an overpriced device. Samsung will not stand by their product and poor battery life. Buyer beware, a $400 ring isn't worth the effort. Ever wonder why Apple doesn't have one? Good luck trying to file a return... I'm still waiting for them to send my device back after denying my claim. Of course, they wait until the warranty is up so I don't file another return claim. 

I guess large companies don't care about losing a few customers. I'm done with Samsung.

Hi , yea I ended up returning it because the battery was horrible. It was still under warranty so they gave me a 450 credit which I used to purchase something else. Not worth it at all.
