can you hide messages on the note 9??

My grandkids have my phone, I have text messages I don't want them to see. How can I hide the messages without deleting them??

you are able to hide apps. type that in your search bar. when you select apps to be hidden, they won't show up on your phone, you will have to search for that particular app when u need to have access to it.
