Where did my YouTube go?

I was watching YouTube shorts and all the sudden it closed and disappeared but it says it is still intalled

Hi @gregory221, We know how frustrating it is when you are unable to locate a favorite app.

Does the YouTube app appear in the app drawer or Finder page?

If you are able to locate it there, try pressing and holding the app. It should provide you with the options to Locate App or Add to Home.

If it does not appear in the drawer or in Finder, try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it from Settings>Apps>YouTube.

So I been having the same problem and my dad tried it (including me) but that did nothing

It is not letting me install it and the other thing won't work

Is YouTube the only app missing? 

Are you receiving any errors when trying to uninstall or reinstall?

So do u know why this is happening to us, for our apps to suddenly disappear?

When i try to delete it it only deletes the updates

So as u know I've been having the same problem as u and my dad found a solution. So how I have to do it know is that I have to search youtube in the Google search. When youtube pops up I click on it. It'll say that u can't view it from there, but if u go to the settings of it, click desktop and then u can watch. FYI it will be VERY sensitive so u got to give it time. Hope this helps!
