It is possible to move a very limited number of apps from internal storage to an SD card, but most are not capatabile with this process. To check if an app has this option, open your device settings (cogwheel icon)>tap on apps and notifications>find and tap on the app you are interested in moving>tap on storage. If the app is eligible to be moved to the SD card, there should be a heading with Storage used with a change button underneath, which will give you the option to transfer the app to the SD card. If you wanted to move files from internal storage to an SD card, use the My Files app located in the suite of Samsung apps.

In developer options, enable this feature to allow you to move most apps to SD card. Performance may be slower, and it may increase the heat generated by the phone.
