I just wanted to comment on the Buds Controls that are no longer in the Wearable App & being moved to my phones settings. Not happy about the move..
They don't even show up there in the settings unless the case is open and connected to phone. I had no problem with it being in the Wearable App with all my other devices & everything in one place. What do you think?

I actually think the option of having the buds settings in the wearable app and settings app is the best idea. And let users choose where they want their buds settings. What do you guys think?

A choice would be nice. Galaxy Buds are a wearable item, makes sense to keep it in the Wearable App.

If people only have buds, this makes more sense, no use for the wear app.

Personally I don't like swiping between watch, Ring and buds. So much easier

I personally like them in the settings app better so I think they should just make the option for both or put the settings for the earbuds both places.

I agree with the wearable app being a better option. Now the wearable app is useless for me because I don't have and don't intend on getting a watch or ring.

Smart things would be a better fit than settings in my opinion, since they are connected devices and part of Samsung ecosystem. For whatever reason though Samsung has an indifference to some of their own products in the Smart things app. Sound bars are treated like they grudgingly had to include them. My HW-Q65T/ZA sound bar is not even on the app because it doesn't recognize it. But the QN70Q60A TV purchased with it and both released in the same year is on the app. Galaxy Buds only show up in the device screen. The default landing is based on your home and you have to switch to the device screen to find earbuds.

The settings menu for your controls for a connected device? To me it seems like they just couldn't figure out how to incorporate earbuds but were determined to take them out of the home they were living in. A much better option would be fully integrated into quick settings panel with a large card like the media player card. Access to the functions and settings on buds would be so much easier there.

I agree that Smart Things would be a better option than the phone settings. I don't have Samsung buds, but if I were to ever obtain any, I would expect the settings to be in either the wear app or smart things - or their own app, like my headphones.

The move has nothing to do with Samsung and everything to do with Google as a whole as Google and iOS are finally going to be able to easier "shake hands" and have it so that their watches will work much better and connect much easier amongst the two different devices so now you can have an Android smartwatch with a apple phone, and vice versa without issues and left out features. One of the only and easiest ways to do this because of iOS in the security over everything was to begin to eliminate what is technically a useless app that takes up space you open what...maybe once in a blue moon for some odd random reason that could easily be contained within the main settings of the phone itself anyway? This is kinda how Apple already does it, so Google is really just adapting their formula in the end for cohesion just as they've done with the new navigation controls.

As much as people love to constantly point a finger at Samsung, this is once again a Google by Sundar issue

Did I purchase a Samsung phone or Google phone? 😂
J/K ...I know Google is the OS and Samsung OneUI is the customized front end.

So, it would be great if this move accommodates cross platform wearables, but there are apps also associated, Samsung Health and Apple Health or whatever they call it.
Are supporting apps getting cross platform too?

If you have a reference article that would be helpful.
