Is it a way to pre-order the ultra ( Z fold 7) by trading the S25/ ultra? I only see the option of S24/ ultra only. Just wondering if anyone who wanted to trade in the S25/ ultra will be able to have the deal as well.
I get it, I have been wanting a fold since they first launched. I think Samsung says they have been listening to what people want in the Fold they are talking about the big TechTubers and Tech journalists who go to these unpacked events and get their demo devices for reviews for their channels. Almost all of them are primarily IPHONE users. The Samsung phones they are reviewing probably never had a SIM IN THEM. Too much of what these tech channels want is then incorporated in a phone they will never use. Leaving the people who actually buy these devices scratching their heads.
If I hear one one time research suggests, I am going to scream. Research for them is TECH CHANNELS, not their actual user base.
@Robin621k I agree with the tech YouTubers point. Very few actually talk about things that matter. Most waste time repeating how thin it is and deflecting from the s-Pen complaints (probably got some talking points on that). Next week, when actual long time Fold/Samsung users start getting their devices, we will start seeing some real, valuable feedback. Maybe even from me, who knows:)

Honestly, yeah I think the thiness is both good and bad. It's good because it is maybe more lightweight and just cool to show off, but it removes the S pen for users. And phones are already thin enough. Just don't use a bulky case. And easy to break. It's like evolving backwards. 50/50. Oh yeah, also about the tech yts, they focus on the sunshine.
I would have been tempted to get one if they'd have left it the same thickness as the old model, but increased battery capacity, and included the S Pen. That would have been a winning combination, if they could have marketed it at $1799.
What drives me crazy with the TechTubers, they are always saying it even comes with a pen that I don't use. Then when they reviewed the Fold 7, Samsung controversy , they removed the pen that they never use.
I cannot live with that trash 3x 10MP camera that's only good for decent portrait shots, that has less than stellar Bokeh effect, when you go beyond 5x it over sharpens with harsh edges and no detail when you try to Pixel peeping. You are better off using the full 200mp with a good crop for more detail.
I use my telephoto way to often on vacation. If I bought the Fold 7 I would have to take my Pixel 9proXl with me too. The Ultra Wide is the same that was used on previous Ultra models.
