I've talked about this with so many people and they ALL agree this NEEDS to be implimented on all phones but if Samsung did it first, that'd be great for them.
How many times have you been watching a video, playing a game, looking at a website, typing an email, etc, and had to get up and walk around or pick up your phone in some way, but as soon as you touch your phone, you somehow knock yourself out of what you had on your screen just to not be able to get back to where you were easily or at all?
Sooo frustrating! Right?
Well if the phone had a button on it that locked the current screen ON (not the screen lock button that shuts off the screen) but a separate button that makes it so your video keeps playing but you cant accidentally screw it up by touching the phone like when you want to turn up the volume but your finger then touches the screen just enough to knock the entire video out or skips the video ahead or etc. But locks the screen ON so that no matter how much you touch your screen, it stays on whatever you have on the screen currently....until you hit that button again to unlock it.
Or like when youre typing an email and you want to keep the screen open and not accidentally delete everything just because you want to move to another room, then you can hit that button so you can be sure the screen stays on and nothing can be changed in your email. Or a game.. if you pause it so you can move to another room, sometimes thats not enough because if you again, accidentally touch the screen, the game u pauses and you lose where you were. But if you hit the screen ON lock button, you could easily move from room to room and touch the phone anywhere and not screw up your game. Doesn't that seem like a no-brainer add-on for a smart phone??
I wish all phones had this button.

Been my experience the phone screen will remain the same if phone is picked up or moved etc the phone may have set to rotate in settings there by screen moving to side and with the screen time out same result

You can pin apps to prevent accidental closures. Open the task manager, click the icon above the app card, and select Pin this App.

Additionally, you can enable Interaction Control in Accessibility settings to block specified buttons or portions of the display as needed.

You can use Good Lock's display assistant to keep your screen on for up to 30 minutes.
