Samsung: Change The Fold S Pen To Mirror The Tablet S Pen?

Since it appears that Samsung is looking to change or even eliminate the S Pen why can't you make an S Pen for the ZFold devices that performs like the one that's used for the Tab S series tablets? One that has a battery and attaches magnetically to the back of the device to wirelessly charge. This seems like an obvious solution to the problem of maintaining the S Pen for these devices. Customers like me aren't upgrading to the ZFold7 due to the lack of S Pen support. You can keep saying that no one uses the S Pen and ignoring us if you like. I can only speak for myself but if the trend of deleting features continues then very soon the S Pen isn't the only thing made by Samsung I will no longer be using.

You would need to add the digitizer layer back and increase the thickness. Also having it connect magnetically is still very prone to loss. One of the biggest reasons for a case on my tablet is to keep the pen from being lost.

[Edit] You would also need to add circuitry to the Fold to charge an S Pen.

I personally would love for them to give up this thinness obsession. I think it's ridiculous to have the body of the phone so thin that you're sacrificing features real customers want like bigger batteries, better speakers, and yes the S Pen no matter how many people they claimed used it. Now the device has camera lenses that are the same thickness of the phone and look like cheap aftermarket additions that are glued to the back. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but to me the ZFold7 looks like a cheap Chinese imitation of what Samsung used to produce which was a high quality technology packed device with industry leading innovation. Sadly for the past couple of years they've gone from the leader to just another follower of the latest trend.

So do so, I like the way the s-pens worked on the Z-Fold 3. I bought the note just for the s-pen, & want an s-pen with a battery, I use it for art/drawing, & love the sharp point. I will also stop buying any Samsung products if we can't do something for the hundreds of thousands of people who like, & use the s-pens. Cater to making a great system for the s-pens. I know you have more phones that have the s-pen, but with the z-fold opening, becoming almost like a tablet, why wouldn't you create an amazing s-pen to use with the Z-Fold phones? Also go back to letting the s-pen work on the small screen as well. People use it to point, and select things on any screen. The s-pen is and was a huge benifit, and was loved, NOT a negative thing in any way. I've bought hundreds of s-pens for one phone, trying to find the old s-pen I had for the z-fold 3. I also got the pencil size and really loved it as well, that one is a good pen for the z-fold phones as well. I don't understand why you would take away something everyone loved, or make it worse by taking away extra perks when it comes to a product that everyone liked, and used?? BRING BACK THE S-PEN, and it's features, features that caused me and others to spend more money on purchasing apps (the full app version) just because I had a SHARP s-pen, PLEASE.

Personally, I don't want a thin stylus that is currently for the Fold series... I want them to bring back the S-Pen Pro. Adopt the technology that's in the Apple Pencil... because the iPads do not have a digitizer and they have full stylus functionality (hover, pressure sensitivity, and palm rejection).

True the fold 5/6 S Pen was terribly thin which is why I normally used the previous fold S Pen which is more like the one on the Tab S series but shorter. Check out www.hideep.com to see the stylus and technology that Samsung is supposedly working with to bring a new S Pen to the fold. I've heard others claim that they were hoping to have it ready for the ZFold 7 but ran into issues during manufacturing. I don't know how reliable that information is but I found it interesting.

I think it was true... leaker PandaFlashPro discussed it. I feel for the leaker because he was so sure it was coming only to be blind sided at the last minute.
