Fold & Flip Phones@drcap If the side key is no longer working, it sounds like a hardware failure and you will need to have a service center evaluate the device.
Before you do that, you can try other troubleshooting techniques like booting into safe mode, wiping the device cache partition, and factory data reset. Factory data reset will wipe the data from the device.

For immediate assistance, one option is to use the Samsung Members app -> Support -> Send text. This will open up live troubleshooting.
