No "Full Screen Apps" button and games have a black bar on side that won't go away

This genuinely makes me so mad. When you Google how to make apps appear in fullscreen, the official Samsung website gives you this info. Meanwhile, with this latest ONE UI 7 UPDATE, THEY HAVE LITERALLY REMOVED THIS FEATURE. WITHOUT EVEN SAYING ANYTHING. THERE IS NO FULL SCREEN APPS BUTTON IN SETTINGS. it's GONE and now my games have UGLY BLACK BARS ON THE SIDES THAT I CAN'T GET RID OF.

I just got the update and had to do it for my games and things.
But to be sure we are taking about the same thing you are talking about the black space on the sides of the games right.

yes, that is what I'm talking about, but I'm on a flip 6, are you on a fold?? They seem to have more options. I don't have those buttons in my multi star..

I just ordered the fold 7 and I have never owned any folds before. But I got sad when I read about that I will get black Bars when watching YouTube videos and that of I zoom then I'll lose alot of the video and it looks bad. Will good luck fix this issue for youtube?

@Lion83 I'm sure you are aware that the reason you get black bars is because the ratio of the youtube video does not match the screen ratio. If the device, or an app, forced the video to fit the screen you would either lose information off the sides or the entire video gets stretched vertically. Depends on how the video is stretched or zoomed to fit the screen.

Yes, I have read that. But come on now, someone has to figure out a fix or there has to be a fix out there. So many hackers and devs out there, I'm surprised nobody has figured this out yet.

@Lion83 People have figured it out but users aren't a fan of wanting to lose part of the video or have the video mangled by stretching it.

I meant figured it out to make it stretch without losing the format or anything else.

Ooh yes that might be why. I have fold 5 for some reason they are different.

So people with folds can fix it but I'm just left with my apps all looking worse than they have in 4 years 😭😭 thanks for the attempt though
