Subject:
My Galaxy Z Flip 6 consistently freezes or becomes unresponsive after being closed for an extended period (e.g., over 1 hour) when I re-opened it.

The issue persists even when the device is in Safe Mode.. When I reopen the phone, the screen remains frozen, and sometimes the fingerprint sensor is delayed or fails to respond. I’ve already cleared the System UI cache and ensured all apps and system updates are current. This started happening after updating to One UI last July 2025.

Steps I have taken to Reproduce:
1. Close the phone and leave it idle for 1+ hour.
2. Reopen the phone.
3. Observe screen freeze or delayed response.
Troubleshooting I have tried:
• Safe Mode
• Clearing System UI cache
• Updating all apps and system components
Request: Please investigate this issue and advise if a firmware update is planned to resolve it.

Hi baby1011,

Welcome to the Samsung Community, and thank you for your post!

To help resolve the problem you're experiencing, have you tried performing a force restart on your device? Judging by the troubleshooting steps you have already performed I would recommend trying this next. This can often resolve temporary software glitches. To do so, press and hold both the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously for approximately 15 to 30 seconds, or until the device restarts.

Please let us know if this helps!
