Hello,
I recently purchased a new Galaxy Book 5 Pro (NP940XHA-KG3US) in the US (Chipset: Intel Ultra 7 258V), and I had to do a clean reinstall of Windows 11 Home edition with ISO (to install the Korean version of Windows) due to Windows language pack issues.
As expected of a clean Windows reinstall, it removed all native Samsung apps from my device. While I was able to install most of them from Microsoft Store, I'm experiencing difficulties reinstalling Samsung Settings app.
I reached out to a Samsung representative, and they sent me a Microsoft Store link (https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9nblggh2jhxl?hl=en-us&gl=CA) to install the app, but it keeps on displaying the same error message. My language settings are in Korean, so I'll put the original error message as well as the rough English translation.
Original (Korean):
드라이버 설치가 필요합니다. Samsung Settings 실행을 위해 Samsung System Event Controller 드라이버가 필요합니다. Samsung Update를 통해 드라이버를 설치하세요.
Rough English Translation:
Driver installation required. To run Samsung Settings, Samsung System Event Controller driver is required. Install the driver through Samsung Update.
I installed all drivers (including Samsung System Event Controller driver), rebooted my device, confirmed the driver installation through Control Panel>Device Manager, and reinstalled Samsung Settings app through the link given to me by another Samsung representative, but the same error message persists whenever I try to launch Samsung Settings app.
Can I please receive help troubleshooting this issue?
Thank you for your time.
Best regards,

Update: I learned from Samsung's Korean support forum that the link sent to me by the US support seems to be a legacy version for pre-Windows 11 devices. (Google Translate may be needed to read the page in English)

ComputersUpdate 2: Following advice, I re-installed Samsung Update app, but there is only an option to search for drivers by entering my device code. There is no option to download Samsung apps.
