system updates over wired network ?

I own a A55 phone; I have an USB-C to Ethernet adapter, and all my apps connect perfectly on the Internet across this wired adapter, EXCEPT Samsung system update, which can only work over WiFI : this is sloppy !

Could Samsung upgrade their updater so that it supports USB-C to Ethernet adapters ? I saw in the Android kernel sources that all the Linux  USB-C to Ethernet drivers are there : so what are they waiting for  ?

You can use the USB-C to computer connection to update via Smart Switch.  You will require a computer and Smart Switch for computer to do so.
