A Series & Other Mobilehi, I just got a galaxy a32 5g. Under chat settings there is a toggle switch for chat features and it says "chat one one or in groups over wifi or mobile networks without using text messages" . Can anyone tell me what this is for and do I need it on or off for normal text and mms messages? Thank You in advance

A Series & Other Mobile
It's RCS type msging. Basically if another Android user has it you can text using mobile data instead of limited to sms. You can turn it on. If they don't have it, then it'll just send sms or MMS.

Here are some of the features chat enables.
"If chat features are turned on, you can:
Send messages over Wi-Fi and mobile data, instead of SMS or MMS
Add people to group conversations
Find out when others are typing
Let others know you’ve read their messages
Share high-quality photos
To use these options, everyone in the Messages conversation must turn on chat features."
