Should I turn on recovery mode because my Samsung a15 won't update it's on 6.0

I don't know what to do I've been stuck on 6.0 for a year I don't want to lose any of my app data, if I can't do anything should I smart switch all my data to my s9 and then do recovery mode?

I looked it up and shared google the image of the information, it says its t mobile

I don't know if you deleted the comment, I got a notification that it is Tmobile firmware. You would need to borrow someone's Tmobile SIM to update your device. There will lots of updates if it is on UI6. The A15 just got Ui8.

If you can return the phone to Amazon you would be better off.

Oh alright, I'm pretty sure my friend has a t mobile

You will have to do this every time there is an update. It make take an hour to catch up on all the updates.
