Samsung A72 unresponsive screen

Hi everyone,

I've been having huge issues with my Samsung phone and I would really love if you could help me.

The screen of my Samsung A72 started becoming unresponsive to touch a couple of days ago (issue resolves after restart, but just for a limited period of time). While this is present, the side buttons still work.

When connected to Windows PC via Phone link the phone screen continues to be unresponsive to touch but all actions performed through my PC are working perfectly well  and visualize/appear without any issues on both the phone screen and the PC screen. In this case I do everything without issues through my PC, yet the screen on my phone continues to be unresponsive.

When I force the phone to restart via the side buttons, it all works fine for a random period of time and then the screen becomes unresponsive to touch again.

It really doesn't matter what I do, the screen becomes unresponsive on a totally random time. Once it becomes such, only a restart fixes the problem but only for a limited time, unfortunately.

I have tried the following (without permanent success) till now:

1. Clear the cache partition (Wipe cache partition from the Android Recovery screen)
2. Factory reset an Android using recovery mode
3. Delete all installed Themes
4. Try in safe mode - the issue remains the same in safe mode as well.

My phone has the following details:

One UI version - 6.1
Android version - 14

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Phone diagnostics tests completed through the option from the Samsung Members application. No issues located through these tests.
